Coffee & Milk Odour Removal

One of the most common odours we have to deal with is that of milk. Occasionally a bottle of milk leaks from somebody's shopping, but frequently the source of the odour is spilled coffee. This can quickly turn into a rotten milk smell with bottom notes of stake coffee.

This Mercedes had coffee spilled on the carpet. Luckily the carpet has a waterproof plastic backing meaning that it won't soak into the underlay and sat as a puddle in the footwell, unlike the Mini in another video where we needed to lift up the carpet and clean underneath. We extract the coffee using a wet-vac, we shampoo the carpets, but we also treat the area with enzymes to eat up the milk, then use a long lasting antibacterial which prevents the growth of bacteria which is what you actually smell when milk goes bad.
