Smoke & Dog Smell Car Odour Removal
The customer bought this car and brought it to us, complaining of a smoke smell. The car had been valeted at the dealership, but this had not removed it, and the dealership offered to contribute towards the cost of the service.
Upon inspection, we could also detect a dog smell in the back of the car, and found traces of dog hair.
The smoke smell is caused by tar adhering to surfaces, and the dog smell is caused by the oils from the animal's coat adhering to surfaces. Bacteria then eat these substances and that is what you smell. We fog the entire interior with a deodorant that kills all the bacteria and then wash down every surface, cleaning it thoroughly.
