What is an acid bath?

In relation to removing concrete from cars, acid baths is the name for the technique we used to use for cleaning concrete and metal fallout contamination. We would wash the entire car with a dilution of phosphoric acid.

There are now products available specifically designed for removing metal fallout and safer forms of concrete remover specifically for cars, so this technique is seldom used, although we might still refer to concrete removal as an acid bath.
