Example of a VW Scirocco with concrete contamination
The car was covered in dried concrete, which was then treated with acid to dissolve the lime and calcium components of the cement. This process was repeated three times to ensure the concrete was fully removed.
After neutralizing the acid with a mild caustic soap, the car underwent a three-stage machine polishing to eliminate all scratches left by the sand and grit and then was coated with a wax.
We gave an estimate based on photos sent to us before the car arrived at New Again, but it was a little easier than we thought, and the final bill was cheaper than the estimate.
The result is a car that looks as good as new, with no trace of concrete splatter.
