Coolant Leak Spillage Clean-up
This Ford Focus had coolant leaking from the air conditioning unit. Coolant does have a smell to it, they also put dye in it which may have been more of a problem if the car had light coloured carpets. This coolant would not evaporate and dry on its own, so needed to be washed out and broken up with detergents, and then the carpets need to be dried.
The seats were stripped out and the carpet lifted so that we were able to remove the foam underlay and wash it outside the car, allowing us to completely flush it through. The car was thoroughly dried before being re assembled.
